A family-owned business with decades of experience.
1999: AB Timber Group was established by Aleksandrs Burnins, who had years of experience in managing successful timber trading companies.

2002: the company moved its office and production lines to the Port of Riga in order to optimize transportation costs. The same year, a new production line was bought, and the company started to produce new timber products with higher added value – floorboards and decking (terrace board).

2003: An additional wood processing machine line was purchased, and new products (roof battens and fence boards) were added to the company's product portfolio.

2004-2014: During 10 year period, an emphasis was made on the modernisation of equipment and wood processing lines, ensuring that the company produces top-quality products.

2015-2023: These years were the years of global expansion. We have significantly increased export volumes and expanded our business partners’ network.

2024: The company continues its operations under the management and supervision of Aleksandr's sons, exporting wood products mainly to the UK and the EU countries.
